Who Am I?

I was saved at the age of 5 in a small Southern Baptist Church.  I knew from a very early age that I wanted to be in ministry, but had no idea what that would look like.  I just knew I wanted to help people. I certainly had my years of rebellion and God was ever merciful through it all.  I started attending ROCK Church in  1989, a very critical time in my life.   

After surviving high school, I went away to college, got married, and moved back home to be a part of ROCK Church.  I have a wonderful husband, 3 amazing children and my dream job- Director of Children’s Ministry at ROCK Church.  Life doesn’t get any better.

 I have taught high school history and Pre-K.  I have worked with typically developing children and special needs children.  I love seeing ALL children find success.  My favorite part of teaching Pre-K was dealing with the children who had been labeled “behavior problems”.  I found it incredibly rewarding to figure out what I could do to help make those children successful in school.
